Had a great gig on Saturday the 21st July 2007. Tony Benedict (also of The Kings of Swing), Joe Corrigan (also Signature) and me Paul-Hayden also The British Rat Pack and Headliners were entertaining some very prestigious business folk hosted by the RBS.
We were in the very pleasant surroundings of Stores Hall Hotel situated by the lake at Windermere in Cumbria.
There were approximately seventy to eighty guests relaxing after a fulfilling meal served with flowing champagne and wines.
Martin the house sound engineer did a great job. The intro music started as we made our entrance Swinging all that swing jazz with humour, fun and banter. While having a laugh with the crowd we homed in on a few slightly or somewhat lubricated Dean Martin impersonators who were encouraged into the show adding to the ambience.
How time flies when you’re having fun the show climaxed to crowd wanting the party to continue. It’s always a good thing to leave with them wanting more.
Tony, Joe and I chilled out for a short while in the performers dining and lounge area before some of the guests breezed into the room to pay compliment.
